A space to slow down, create, and reconnect with yourself.

In-person and online classes.
Thoughtfully guided experiences to relax, reconnect with your creativity, and give yourself time without pressure.

It’s more than drawing.
It’s a return to the center.

We live fast-paced, often overwhelmed, with minds constantly full.

The Zentangle® Method is a structured practice of creative meditation through mindful drawing. Each stroke becomes a simple, tangible way to return to the present moment.

No artistic experience is needed. You don’t have to “know how to draw.”

All you need is a willingness to pause.

“Each stroke becomes a simple, tangible invitation back to the present moment.”

Repetitive patterns soothe the nervous system, allowing the breath and body to naturally regulate.

A simple practice that creates gentle yet meaningful shifts. Anxiety softens, one stroke at a time.

Free from judgment or pressure, your natural creativity begins to flow with ease.

Attention returns to the present moment, bringing greater clarity and a more settled mind.

An invitation to notice, appreciate, and enjoy both the process and what surrounds you.

WHAT IS THE ZENTANGLE® METHOD?

The Zentangle® Method is a practice created by Maria Thomas and Rick Roberts that combines art and mindfulness through the drawing of simple, structured patterns known as tangles on small pieces of paper.

More than a technique, it is an experience of presence — a way to slow down, connect with the moment, and cultivate creativity without pressure.

‘Anything is possible, one stroke at a time…’®”

The method guides us through eight simple steps, transforming a blank page into a moment of deep connection.

1 - Gratitude

We take a moment and connect with gratitude — for the moment, the materials, and the opportunity to create.

2 – The Corner Dots

We lightly mark a dot in each corner. Even this simple gesture shifts the space.

3 – The Border

Connecting the dots with a soft line creates a frame — a container for what will unfold.

4 – The String

Inside the border, we draw one or more lines (called a string) to divide the space.

5 – Tangle

We draw a sequence of simple strokes forming a pattern, focusing on one line at a time.

6 – Shade

With pencil, we add shading to create depth and dimension. The image begins to come alive.

7 – Sign

You initial your work — honoring your creation.

8 – Appreciate

We pause, observe, and appreciate what emerged — without judgment.

The “NO MISTAKES” Philosophy

Zentangle® is grounded in the idea that there are no mistakes — only opportunities.

Each stroke becomes an invitation to accept, trust, and remain present…

Stories born from a
single stroke

I have had the pleasure of working with Valeria in two different 5 session workshops. She is a very patient teacher who is quick with praise or help if you need it. No one has ever accused me of being artistic, but I have always been impressed with my finished product. I’m looking forward to learning more from Valeria in the future!

I first discovered Zentangle four years ago during a very difficult time in my life. What began as a way to carve out a little time for myself and unwind with a creative outlet has since become part of my regular self-care routine. Along the way, I’ve made some wonderful friends through Valeria’s classes and look forward to each one. Valeria is engaging, thoughtful, and incredibly creative and she has a gift for making every class feel special and memorable

Valeria has really made Zentangle come to life for me. She is very patient and does a great job showing all the strokes…often more than once. Class is fun and extremely meditative. I look forward to class every week.

I have been in New Hampshire only two years and Valeria was one of the first people I met after moving here, when I took her beginner Zentangle class near my home. I was instantly struck by her warmth and kindness. It is so evident that she not only loves Zentangle but loves sharing the process with others. Since learning the Zentangle method from Valeria, I have relied on it as a nightly ritual to wind down and find peace. Despite doing Zentangle for nearly two years, I continue to be amazed at the intricate and beautiful art that I can make with four simple pen strokes.

I highly recommend Valeria Reinzi’s Zentangle classes. If you always wanted to learn to draw, Valeria demonstrates how via step-by-step instructions. She is patient and provides individual guidance, always asking if anyone needs help. Her warm personality and creative projects, like drawing on ceramic pumpkins and gingerbread houses, have made the classes lots of fun

I love Valeria's classes because my mind releases all other thoughts and cares as the image we're creating unfolds.

My Journey
to this moment

My name is Valeria Rienzi.

I’ve always been drawn to the intersection of creativity, well-being, and personal transformation.

Originally from Argentina, I moved to the United States in 2020 — a transition that marked a profound turning point in my life. Leaving behind my children and everything familiar required resilience, reflection, and reinvention.

Although my professional background began in technology, my deeper calling was always connected to art and inner work. Over the years, I studied art, yoga, Ayurveda, and holistic practices, exploring different ways to support emotional and creative growth.

During that time of transition, the Zentangle® Method became a true anchor. Its structure provided steadiness; its simplicity brought calm; its philosophy shifted the way I related to challenge and uncertainty.

Zentangle helped me integrate everything I had learned — and create a new chapter.

Today, as a Certified Zentangle Teacher, I guide others in discovering what they are capable of creating — and becoming — one stroke at a time.

I don’t simply teach drawing.

I hold space for a practice that cultivates presence, creativity, and quiet confidence.

I believe self-awareness grows when we quiet the noise.

Zentangle offers that quiet — and the opportunity to observe, to wonder, and to reconnect with the creativity that lives within us.

In my classes, the focus is not the final result, but the experience itself.

Each tile becomes a small act of attention and care.

“In each quiet moment of creation, something within begins to shift.”
